I’m Dr. Antonella Bove—a passionate visual artist with a deep love for painting and storytelling through color, texture, and form. With a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master’s degree in Art Education, I bring both academic insight and artistic intuition to my creative practice. Art, to me, is not just a form of expression—it’s a transformative language that invites connection, introspection, and discovery.
I divide my time between New York City, the Hamptons, Naples (Florida), and Italy. Each of these places offers a unique rhythm, palette, and atmosphere that deeply influences my work. Whether wandering through coastal towns, historic cities, or natural landscapes, I find endless inspiration in the cultures, colors, and emotions that surround me.
My paintings are rooted in these experiences—expressive, layered, and often centered on themes of movement and memory. I strive to capture the essence of a place or moment, allowing viewers to step into a visual space of exploration and emotion.
Art has always been at the core of my life. As I continue to grow, experiment, and connect through my work, I remain committed to the belief that art is a powerful way for everyone to express their thoughts and ideas.
