Rachael Lord has been working with United Arts Collier’s education programs since 2021. Originally from Topsham, Maine, Rachael moved to Florida as a teenager and has loved living in the Sunshine State ever since. She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Florida Southern College and an MFA in Creative Writing from Lindenwood University. As a professional actress, Rachael has been seen on stages across SWFL, including Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Gulfshore Playhouse, Player’s Circle Theater, TheatreZone, and more. As a published author, Rachael’s books include Fragile Hearts Club (Nymeria Publishing, 2021)The Meaning of Stars (Nymeria Publishing, 2023), and The Astronaut and the Rose-Colored Helmet (Nymeria Publishing, 2026). In addition, she is a playwright and has had fiction pieces published in several literary magazines. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the literary journal Ghost Light Lit. Through the incredible work of UAC, Rachael has been able to serve the community through coordinating, planning, and overseeing vital arts education programs, serving thousands of students across Collier County.
