Josephine Gilliland is a strategic communicator and arts advocate dedicated to expanding cultural access and community engagement. Currently an M.S. Communications candidate at Syracuse University, Josephine holds a B.A. in Communication and a B.B.A. in Entrepreneurship. Her background spans the nonprofit and entertainment sectors, including work as an Impact Producer for the Academy Award-nominated documentary Crip Camp and as the Director of Dance Education at Curtain Call Studios. A published author and Public Relations Specialist, Josephine is passionate about leveraging her expertise to support the vibrant arts community in Collier County.
Outside of her professional work, Josephine is a devoted dance educator and is working toward her goal of running a half-marathon in every state. She resides in Lakeland with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs.
