Each spring, the Naples International Dance Festival transforms Naples into a vibrant hub for dance, bringing internationally acclaimed artists together with local audiences for performances, films, exhibitions, classes, and community experiences. NIDF goes beyond the stage, offering rare access to artists through conversations, education, wellness programming, and free events designed for all ages and abilities.
The 2026 Naples International Dance Festival unfolds over five dynamic days, beginning with an evening of dance on screen and conversation that explores choreography through film and dialogue. Midweek programming emphasizes education, wellness, and access, featuring masterclasses held at Opera Naples and a free, all-ages “Revelations Celebration Community Workshop” set in the iconic Naples Botanical Garden led by Ailey Arts In Education teaching artists, accompanied by live music from an Ailey percussionist. The festival’s centerpiece arrives with a premier performance featuring world-class artists Including Megan LeCrone, former Soloist with New York City Ballet, enhanced by wellness offerings, artist talks, and a celebratory post-performance reception. The weekend continues with high-level masterclasses for aspiring dancers and an exclusive beachfront VIP experience, bringing patrons and artists together in an intimate setting. NIDF concludes with inclusive programming focused on movement, health, interdisciplinary artistic inspiration, and community connection—reinforcing the festival’s commitment to making dance accessible and uplifting for all.
