United Arts Collier enriches the lives of our residents and visitors alike through arts education, exhibitions, performances, community outreach programs, special events, and so much more. The information below represents just a selection of what UAC accomplishes each year.
We serve as Collier’s arts umbrella, like a chamber of commerce for the arts, and a uniting thread through all the arts in our community. UAC develops mutually beneficial collaborations and partnerships among people, organizations, and businesses from all arts disciplines, which positively impact opportunities and growth for all in Collier and beyond. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity, UAC depends upon generous corporate, grant, and individual support for its success in serving all the arts for all of Collier.
Catalyzing our arts, business, nonprofit, and government communities through creative collaborations to provide a nexus for the arts and economic impact including exhibition, networking, and performance opportunities elevating visibility for and celebrating our local, regional, and UAC member artists
Beautifying spaces and engaging the community in the arts through murals, public art, and publicly viewable art
Serving the community through special initiatives like the Collier Arts Archive and the Naples International Dance Festival
Distributing weekly social media posts & e-newsletter in addition to providing our central arts calendar with arts & cultural events to over 5,000 subscribers
Providing arts education including therapeutic and community-building art classes free of charge for around 2,500 students annually, many of whom would not otherwise have access to quality arts services
Providing art therapy for all ages and abilities including seniors with Alzheimers and dementia, at-risk youth, and Veterans free of charge
Providing economic impact studies and increasing awareness of the many benefits of the arts including education, health, and community safety in addition to positive economic outcomes
Advocating in public forums and with elected officials to share opportunities to strengthen our community through the power of the arts
