Nationally-known artist Amy Moglia Heuerman maintains a gallery and studio in the Naples Design District in Naples’ downtown area, and another gallery and studio in Bay Harbor, Mich., during the summer months. She expresses her broad vision in a range of styles that demonstrate her versatility, while all of her work is unmistakably hers. Her wingspan is expansive. She paints inspiring seascapes, dynamic abstracts, her popular “girl” series, and impressionistic florals with oversized blossoms. Her layered paintings invite a close look at embedded visual stories.

Manon is a highly acclaimed Florida artist, plein air painter and painting instructor.
A strong believer in finding joy in the little things in life, she seeks to capture and share the moments that give her the most happiness, that evoke the rawest of uplifting emotions human nature has to offer. Manifesting these twinkles of delight through vivid oils has brought Manon to numerous awards, national juried exhibitions, galleries, invitational and juried festivals, and inclusion in publications such as Southwest Art and Plein Air Magazine. She was awarded Signature Status in the National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society. Manon teaches both weekly painting classes, as well as national and international workshops and is a Mastrius Master Artist, mentoring other artists. She sees painting as being as natural and necessary as breathing, and as crucial, of course, as trying as many flavors of ice cream as possible in one very long and incredible summer.

Award-winning sculptor Joel Shapses maintains a studio and showroom in Naples’ Artisans Plaza. Born in New Jersey and having spent much of his life on the Eastern U.S. coast, Shapses discovered his artistic gift early, sculpting primitively from age five. After earning a BA in Biology and a Doctor of Dental Surgery, he practiced dentistry while pursuing sculpture, owning Gallery 421 in Fort Lauderdale for over 30 years and completing more than 600 works. Relocating to Naples in 2007 upon retirement, he now focuses on large-scale stone sculptures, exploring fused glass, bronze, aluminum, and metal. His sensuous abstracts and natural interpretations—balancing movement and vitality—adorn private collections, public venues, luxury yachts, and homes across North and South America.
