This year on History and Heritage Row, in front of the Museum at Everglades City’s Annual Seafood Festival, we will again focus on our partnership with the local indigenous tribe of Miccosukee Indians. Several artisans from the Tribe will have their clothing and jewelry creations for sale. There will also be an ongoing traditional cooking demonstration along with an alligator wrestling exhibition by our local Indigenous Alligator Wrestling Team. Collier County Museums will have an information booth with kids’ activities, and the museum will be open for visitors to enjoy and explore the current Sharing the Path exhibit in the front gallery and our permanent exhibits (including the 1929 Harley-Davidson motorcycle) in the back.
