This combined commemoration of the 98th Anniversary of the Completion of the Tamiami Trail and celebration of the “birthday” of Museum of the Everglades (opened on the 70th Anniversary of the Trail in 1998) is a fun-filled afternoon with live music, complimentary hot dogs, and the only laundry cart races in the country! Join us early for a complimentary walking tour, sign up to take part in the races, peruse the display of classic cars on the boulevard, or just relax and enjoy the music with a slice of birthday cake!
